VITAL MEP ENGINEERING is a factory construction company in Penang, established in 2022 with a focused scope in Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) design coordination and industrial sub-contracting services.
Through direct involvement in factory construction, utility installation and production-related upgrade projects, the team developed hands-on expertise in system integration, technical coordination and execution within live industrial environments. This formative phase built a strong operational foundation rooted in practical site experience and production-sensitive delivery.

As project scale and technical complexity increased, the organization progressively enhanced its internal coordination structure, cost control discipline and governance methodology to ensure clearer accountability and more controlled execution outcomes.

(VCE) was formally established to operate as a General Contractor, expanding its capabilities to deliver integrated Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA), Mechanical, Electrical & Process (MEP), and utility systems as a cleanroom specialist under a centralized project management framework.
This transition represents a structured evolution — from specialized technical coordination to comprehensive industrial project integration — enabling VCE to assume full delivery responsibility across complex factory environments.
Today, VCE operates exclusively within industrial and controlled production settings, delivering disciplined, reliability-driven construction solutions aligned with operational continuity and long-term performance objectives.

Yeoh Vern Chet leads the strategic direction, commercial governance and integrated project delivery framework of VCE. He oversees cost discipline, risk management and long-term client partnerships across complex industrial developments.
With experience spanning industrial consultancy, specialist contracting and general contracting leadership, Yeoh brings a cross-functional perspective that bridges design intent, commercial strategy and execution control.
He began his career in industrial MEP consultancy, contributing to the delivery of major multinational manufacturing facilities including Infineon, First Solar, Toyo Tires (Phase 2), Schott Glass, Jabil Batu Kawan (Phase 1), Jabil Green Point, Polyplastic and TT Vision. His scope covered design coordination, technical advisory and project management across semiconductor, solar, automotive and precision manufacturing sectors.
He later transitioned into specialist fire protection contracting as Commercial and Design Manager, where he oversaw commercial management, system design coordination and execution control for industrial fire protection works, including projects for UMW Industries, Briemfields, Mewah Oil and Kato Manufacturing.
Subsequently, he served in general contracting leadership roles, managing planning, coordination and delivery of base-build, cleanroom and retrofit projects for multinational clients such as ASE, Carsem, Boston, Enovix, Fastrain, Draexlmaier, Coherent and Flextronics. Collectively, he has contributed to industrial developments exceeding 500,000 square feet, many executed within live production environments requiring accelerated schedules, compliance control and disciplined coordination.
With exposure across consultancy, specialist and main contractor environments, Yeoh integrates engineering feasibility, commercial governance and site execution into a structured delivery model — ensuring industrial projects are technically sound, commercially disciplined and operationally controlled.
Marcus Lim leads technical integration, engineering coordination and operational execution at VCE. He is responsible for ensuring that industrial projects are technically sound, commercially aligned and delivered with controlled execution.
He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and brings over a decade of experience across industrial MEP systems, process utilities and cleanroom engineering within advanced manufacturing environments.
Marcus began his career as a Project Engineer in a water treatment firm, contributing to projects such as GUH Circuit, Jinko Solar and Nissei Kunshan (China), where he developed strong foundations in engineering execution and multidisciplinary coordination.
He subsequently joined an MEP consultancy practice, leading feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, authority submissions and full project coordination for high-specification industrial and medical manufacturing facilities. Key clients included B. Braun Medical Industries, NextGlass Technologies and Boston Scientific.
Transitioning into the contracting sector, Marcus was recruited as Lead Engineer within a process utility specialist firm delivering Compressed Dry Air (CDA), Process Cooling Water (PCW), bulk gas, specialty gas and chemical systems. As a core technical leader, he contributed to scaling the organization to a 50-person team and expanding its capability into full design-and-build delivery of process utilities, HVAC and cleanroom systems. He was later promoted to Assistant Manager, overseeing multiple concurrent projects across engineering, procurement and construction phases.
His project involvement spans industrial developments totaling approximately RM500 million in value, including works for Smith & Nephew, Dexcom, Schott Glass and SICK Sensor Intelligence. Marcus combines consultant-level engineering rigor with contractor-level execution discipline — ensuring technically complex industrial systems are delivered with precision, coordination and operational control.
